Ingredients
 
 

  • 6 cups pasta try to go with a organic whole wheat or brown rice pasta
  • 2 broccoli 2 stalks cut in small florets
  • 0.5 cup almonds ground up in a blender
  • 3 cups no-cheese sauce home made, see link at the top of the page
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 3 tbsp cilantro chopped

Instructions
 

  • The first step is to make the No-Cheese Sauce. Select the links at the top of this page to get to the recipes.
  • Cut the broccoli into small florets and remove the stem.
  • Cook the pasta according to the directions on the package.
  • Add the almonds to a high-speed blender and blend them into a chunky consistency. Don't make it into a flower. You want to keep it chunky to add some crunch to the Mac & Cheeze.
  • Mix the pasta, no-cheese sauce, broccoli florets and almonds in a big bowl until everything is mixed well. Serve and add some nutritional yeast and cilantro.

Notes

You could add everything (except the cilantro) into a backing dish and place into the oven for about 15-20 minutes (at 350ºF). This will brown the nutritional yeast a little.
