This dairy-free sour cream is so full of flavor that no one will know the difference. It is the perfect balance of tart and creamy to use as a base in any of your sauces. Use like you would with any other sour cream!
Cashew Sour Cream
This dairy-free sour cream is so full of flavor that no one will know the difference.
Ingredients
- 1 cup cashews raw
- 1 tbsp lemon use fresh lemon juice
- 0.5 cup water add more if needed
- 1.5 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 0.25 tsp sea salt
Instructions
- Place the cashews into a bowl and add water. Let soak for 2 hours or overnight
- Drain and rinse the cashews
- Add the cashews into a high speed blender and add all the other ingredients
- Start with about half the amount of water and only add more until you reach the desired consistency
