Fruit Paste

Date Paste

F

ruit Paste.

I am using dates for most of my fruit pastes but you can use other dried fruit too. The samples below are dates and apricots. The dates are already very sweet but to add some sweetness to the apricots you can try adding cinnamon or vanilla bean.

    Fruit Paste
  4. Transfer paste into a glass jar and place in the fridge where it will keep for about 3 weeks. Alternatively, it can be frozen for several months.
Recipe Notes

For different flavor profile you can add spices like cinnamon, vanilla, a pinch of sea salt or some fresh lemon juice. You can make this paste in advance because it will store in the freezer and not freeze solid so you can easily take a scoop and use it in any of your dressings or dishes.
