This Thanksgiving Roast is a dish I created by putting together several other dishes that I make throughout the year. I just wrapped it in some phyllo dough and it came out as something very special. It doesn't only look good, it tastes great too.
This hearty vegan veggie loaf or "meatloaf" is made from a base of lentils and rice, baked up to perfection and topped with a flavorful BBQ glaze. Serve with sides such as mashed potatoes, carrots, greens or eat it just by itself. It is not quite a classic meatloaf. I think it is even better :-)
If you fear rich, decadent, intense desserts then you may want to skip this one. But for chocolate lovers this chocolate ganache torte is bliss. To cut through the richness of the torte, pair it with berries, sauce or compote with an acidic bite.

You can eat this chickpea salad for lunch, dinner or as a snack. You can eat it over mixed greens but you can also enjoy it as is. A cup of cooked rice or quinoa stirred in is also fabulous. And if you are in a bind, this is quick and easy to make and a great crowd pleaser for a potluck. Enjoy!
Something different to make sure you get all your servings of vegetables. This cauliflower fried rice is a great alternative if you are used to serving rice.

You would not say that this scramble has no eggs. The taste, color and texture is so close or even better! I would make sure that you have the Indian black salt. This will give your dish a more egg like smell.
